| Non-Surgical Periodontal Care |
| Many phases of periodontal disease can be successfully treated with non-surgical care. Our office provides progressive treatment available
including non-surgical hand and ultrasonic instrumentation, antiseptic and antibiotic therapy, oral hygiene instruction and specialty selected
home-care products. For many patients, this will be all they will require to control their problem. Others will require follow up surgery. |
| |
| Cosmetic Procedures |
| Dr. Halpern performs cosmetic procedures. We do smile enhancement procedures, including gum grafts, which in some cases can provide
gum coverage for the exposed roots of teeth. Crown lengthening procedures increase the size of the teeth to create a nicer smile. Crown
lengthening is also employed when there is not enough tooth exposed for your dentist to fabricate a crown. After the patient has healed the
dentist can then make the crown. |
| |
| Regenerative Surgery |
| We perform all aspects of gum and bone regeneration. This enables patients to retain teeth that previously would have been extracted. We
employ the latest and most effective procedures, utilizing EMDOGAIN (dental stem cells), freeze dried bone, and Alloderm or Dermis freeze
dried skin. This allows for terrific healing, with minimal discomfort and inconvenience for our patients. |
| |
| Implants and Related Surgery |
Through the use of bone grafting, most patients can be candidates to receive dental
implants. Socket preservation, sinus and ridge augmentation procedures can be
performed. Many types of dental implants are offered to replace single teeth or all of
your teeth. Our office realizes the importance dental implants play in the physical well
being and psychological health of our patients. |
